Emilia Clarke in Game of Thrones
I’m pretty excited because I finally learned how to spell Daenerys Targaryen.
Well, that’s a wrap on release week promotion for Born and Raised. It’s so phenomenally weird to wake up this morning at home and not in the back of...
anyone?
noone seems to of recorded the most important part!
Its been abother dismal day here weather wise but The Hague was beautiful and probably my favourite part of this trip so far. It is true that it is a far more chilled out place. Amsterdam feels quite frenetic by comparison. The Hauge is also far better signposted which was a blessing as the maps we got were crap.
We took in an exhibition on Escher that Natalie recommended. She really knows me well because it was exactly my cup of tea. We also went to have a look at Mauritshuis which has all the great works by the Dutch and Flemish masters. The Vermeer’s were my favourites. We skipped the modern art museam and strolled around the shopping streets which are far more up market, less sex and more handbags. Sadly we didn’t bump into any politicians but we did catch a protest match. Some Dutch unions were marching against the closing of a car factory in the south of Holland.
My freakish ability to pick out good places to eat excelled itself and we enjoyed our best meal so far. Tomato soup with meat balls and a seriously fancy creme brûlée with coffee ice cream and a drizzle of Baileys.
We have checked in online and printed our boarding passes.
I think we are both looking forward to coming home how. BA are idiots and have not sat Olivia and I together so we are hoping whoever is in the neighbouring seats will swap with us.
