Emilia Clarke in Game of Thrones
I’m pretty excited because I finally learned how to spell Daenerys Targaryen.
Well, that’s a wrap on release week promotion for Born and Raised. It’s so phenomenally weird to wake up this morning at home and not in the back of...
anyone?
noone seems to of recorded the most important part!
Today was as equally long as yesterday but not so taxing.
We went to the Anne Frank house in the morning and it was strangely brilliant and very sad. I really wish I had gone there when I was at school and were studying the diary. I understand that logisticaly it would have been difficult but it would have been profound. We also took in some more Jewish history at a church just off Dam Square. They have a 19th century Torah on display ,antique parchments and some parts of the Dead Sea scrolls. They had an antique traditional wedding dress on display that probably weighed as much as or more then me. It was a really excellent exhibition.
We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring shopping streets and I finally got to try some 2 year old Gouda with Cumin. It was delicious so I’m bringing some home and I’ll take a bit in to work for my friends to try.
Found the Tea Bar Holly told us about and chilled out for a it while it began to rain. Smells like heaven in there.
I managed to get the guy at the boat place to transfer our tickets to Thursday so we will get to use them! It will be a nice way to finish our stay.
We’ve had dinner at an Argentian Steak House that Dad recomened we try so I am stuffed to bursting.
Tomorrow we are going to The Hague. I’ve read it’s less intense then Amsterdam so I’m looking forward to a fairly relaxed day.
I hope I haven’t “waffled” on to much. Apologies for the awful joke.
